JayShawn Wilhite

JayShawn Wilhite is one of the master’s level therapist interns for Monumental Behavioral Health. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from Anderson University and is a master’s student at Indiana University school of Social Work. 

He works mainly with adolescents and adults of all ages. He has experience working in charter schools and clinics as an ABA therapist for five years providing connections to schools, community, and home services to help children with educational and developmental needs. He has worked for the Indianapolis Public Library providing case management, resources, and connections to housing options or organizations to assist with the unhoused population that have problems with mental health, addiction, and criminal records. He has worked with the Youth Advocate Program dedicating this time to advocating for the youth, dealing with delinquency of youth, and providing wraparound services for the youth and families of these individuals. 

JayShawn is passionate about working with those who have experienced depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and individuals who have been a part of the criminal justice system.
