Jewel Carlisle
Jewel Carlisle is one of the therapists and Operations Service Manager for Monumental Behavioral Health. She believes it’s imperative to establish a supportive therapeutic pairing as the foundation for clients to begin their healing journey.
Jewel remains interested in working with many theoretical approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, and Collaborative Therapy. She also enjoys utilizing a solution-focused model, which allows clients the ability to create their solution, while instilling hope to their situation.
Jewel is very adamant in creating a safe environment for clients and recognizes the privilege of sitting with clients as they rediscover themselves. Jewel’s previous experience has given her the exposure of working in the areas of abuse, trauma, neglect, anxiety, addiction, etc for the last 8 years. She also has experience providing therapy for a diverse population including individuals, families, and children.
Jewel has attained a Gottman level 1 as well as interned at the Dove Recovery House, where she facilitated a group for parents and children to strengthen their relationship during recovery.
Educational Information:
Jewel received her Bachelor’s of Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Christian Theological Seminary. Jewel is currently pursuing her licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy.
