Kayla Staton

About Kayla, BSW, MSW, LSW: I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of Indiana with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Indiana University Bloomington. My professional experience includes working one on one with clients needing counseling support and intensive outpatient (IOP) settings, mental and behavioral health, case management, housing and homelessness services, and addiction recovery.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy reading and spending quality time with family and friends. I value the importance of meaningful connections and believe that having a supportive environment can play an important role in overall well-being.

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, valued, and empowered. I enjoy helping individuals develop a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while identifying effective coping strategies and building upon the strengths they already possess. I strive to support each client in recognizing their potential, navigating life's challenges, and working toward meaningful personal growth and positive change.
