Kimberly Bland

Since 2001 Kimberly Bland has had the honor and privilege of working with children, young adults, and their families in various roles with Indianapolis Public Schools. Since 2013, she has worked in the fields of Education, Mental Health, and Addictions. Her experiences as a Mental Health Counselor, afforded her the opportunity to look at scenarios from all angles to assist in resolving trauma, triggers, grief and loss, relational conflict, life transitions, decision making, depression, and anxiety. In addition, she explores ways to improve relationships by working collaboratively to establish boundaries, communication skills, empowering independence, and self-sufficiency when applicable. 

Her educational experience and accomplishments consist of her Associate in Human Services from Ivy Tech State College, Bachelor of Social Work from University of Indianapolis, and Master of Science Community Psychology from Martin University. She is Mental Health First Aid certified and has training in grief support and Connect 2 Help (211).
